Fall Wedding Inspo | Autumn Destination Weddings
Itβs currently 105ΒΊ as I sit here and write this blog post about fall weddings, so bear with me as I dream about crispy weather, walking through the local apple orchard, and wrapping up in a cozy blanket. My other favorite thing about fall?
Weddings. Lots of βem.
Fall Wedding Season in Las Vegas
Fall is notorious for being βbusy seasonβ for photographers, and that holds especially true in Las Vegas. While September is seen as the start of autumnal weather in the majority of the Northern Hemisphere, Las Vegas often sees temps in the upper 90s/lower 100s. So while you start planning your September or October 2027 wedding, consider average temperatures when looking at different Las Vegas wedding venues! Will you be indoors or outdoors? When does the sun set? Is there a good amount of shade at your venue, or a backup plan if itβs too hot outside?
Pro tip: The Neon Museum in Las Vegas will not hold ceremonies in their outdoor spaces if the temps are projected to be over 100ΒΊ, and they only offer sunrise weddings between June and August.
While October and November tend to offer cooler temperatures in Las Vegas, those dates book out quickly for most wedding vendors. Make sure you get your dream team by booking early!
Las Vegas Fall Wedding Colors
One of the best parts about Las Vegas is that truly anything is possible, especially when it comes to your wedding day. When thinking about colors, most folks opt for jewel tones to reflect the autumn season, but I also encourage couples to think about where their photos will happen. Will your portraits be in Red Rock at sunset? If so, your background will be a good mix of reds and greens, so consider some lighter colors to stand out against the scenery. Thinking about the dry lakebed? Black pops against the tan earth and purple mountains every time. Leaning heavy into the neon on Fremont Street? Since most classic neon is red and yellow, black and white creates the most striking images!
Personal Touches in Wedding Decor
Just because youβre hosting a Las Vegas wedding doesnβt mean you canβt put yourselves into it! Lean into the fall vibes by tossing a pumpkin or two into your floral arrangements (and then make the best pumpkin soup afterward β not sponsoredβ¦ yet). Or plan your wedding to fall on Halloween, and require all of your guests to dress up like Kim and Clark did for their welcome dinner. One thing I say to couples in every session, whether itβs their elopement, wedding, or engagement, is βif it feels comfy, it looks comfy.β And I think that rings especially true when it comes to planning your wedding!
Side note: I still have Halloween 2026 available, so snag it while itβs still open!
All in all, fall weddings in Las Vegas are the dreamiest option for couples looking to stay cool while enjoying all that Vegas has to offer. I have a few fall dates open, so donβt wait to stake your claim on your favorite one!
