Rainy Las Vegas Elopement Photos | The Venetian

Man, what a dashing pair these two make! I can’t get enough of these romantic portraits. Brittany and Rocky braved the rainiest of rainy days for their Las Vegas Venetian elopement photos and boy did it pay off! The Venetian turned out to be the perfect place for a rainy day like this thanks to all the different hiding places the beautiful architecture gave us to stay dry.

After ten years of bliss together, Brittany and Rocky were capturing family portraits on the beach when Rocky popped the big question! Isn’t that romantic? They decided that a Las Vegas elopement was the perfect fit for them. I love our city and I love love, so I ALWAYS agree with that idea!

Even long-time residents of Vegas agree that The Venetian is something special. The Italian architecture and romantic energy draped in the luxurious and lavish spirit of Vegas makes you feel like you’re stepping into another world: one of hand-painted frescoes (painted by real Italian artists!) and stunning Italian marble floors (modeled perfectly after the floor in the Church of Santa Maria del Rosario!). When the founders of The Venetian said they wanted to bring the spirit of Venice to Vegas, they meant it!

We did manage to dash into the open courtyard in the breaks of the downpour for a few lovely photos before ducking back under the awnings for a little dancing, a little dipping, lots of smoochin’, and so many smiles. Of course, we had to get back out on the streets for a classic champagne bottle pop! So much fun!

Brittany’s best friend was also getting married this day with their ceremonies taking place back-to-back at the Mon Bel Ami chapel. That’s real friendship! Check out the image below of Rocky sharing the champagne with the other happy couple.

I can never get enough of this incredible resort and the way it transports you to a different place with the stunning architecture, authentic art, and romantic spirit. If you’re planning a Las Vegas elopement and want to capture romantic wedding portraits at The Venetian, give me a shout!
