A Special Memory Wedding Chapel Elopement | Vegas Drive-Thru Wedding

What’s more Vegas-y than a one-day trip with a drive-through wedding ceremony?

Maybe getting married by Elvis, but that’s about it.

Juli and Michael were one of those couples that had their wedding plans ruined by the panini press, but instead of postponing or canceling, they just wanted to be married! So they did what any other couple would do, and said, “Vegas, baby!”

When I asked Juli about their relationship, she told me that they met in 2013, when they were both foreign students, studying in Glasgow, Scotland. They started dating after they went on a trip to Turkey with a group of people.

”We’ve been together for a very long time. We were planning a wedding last year, but it got canceled due to COVID. Our friends and family are mostly in China, and they wouldn’t have been able to come for the wedding. We wanted to have some fun and make this wedding special, different from others! We’d just like this to make this a casual, fun, cool and sweet small wedding, though our families cannot come, they would be able to feel our joy through the photos and be super happy for us!”

Sounded like my kinda couple! What’s better, they decided to have a drive-thru wedding at the Special Memory Chapel! These two rented a fancy car for the day, flew in from the Bay Area, got married, and flew back home that night. Literally a quick one-day trip, but absolutely the best day of their lives.

Juli told me that in China, their version of Valentine’s Day is in August, so these two decided to hold their elopement that month. It was hot here in Vegas, you’d never know because of how focused on each other these two were. It was evident in their photos that they truly are soulmates.

Also, peep that post-“I-do” hug, because honestly I think it’s better than the kiss.
