Loulu Palm Wedding | Haleiwa Oahu Wedding

I have photographed this couple a million times already, and each time is better than the last.

Alyssa and I met through a Facebook group in early 2020, pre-lockdown era. We clicked pretty quickly and originally were set to meet up for their elopement photos – since it’s often a good idea to get officially married before the wedding for military couples. So we set up for their elopement in mid-March, but I’m guessing you can predict what happened then.

Eventually we rescheduled for their engagement photos (but they were already married), and we scheduled their 2021 wedding in Hawaii.

About two weeks before their scheduled date, Hawaii was still under strict regulations and wouldn’t allow events of their size. So we waited another year, and they finally held their dream wedding in sunny Haleiwa, Oahu.

Alyssa and Logan spent nearly 3 years planning and crafting their perfect day, so you can imagine how thoughtful each and every detail was. Their day started out with a bit of rain, but that also meant that their sunset was stunningly beautiful. Just goes to show a little rain is a good thing on a wedding day!

One thing I really loved about this wedding was that even though these two had been married for more than two years by this point, they still wanted the magic of a traditional wedding! So we made sure they were able to have a first look together, as well as with their parents.

I think the photos speak for themselves, so I’ll let you peek through this beautiful Hawaii wedding day. But when the time comes to plan your dreamy destination day, give your girl a call!
