Las Vegas Wedding Photo Session | Fremont Street + The Strip

Real talk: no other couple has ever been so good at posing themselves than Shelby and Garrett.

These two eloped in Vegas all the way from Michigan, spending the majority of their trip in front of the camera! They had a commitment ceremony at Taco Bell, their actual wedding ceremony at the Valley of Fire, and then a fun Fremont Street / Strip session with me!! They really wanted to make the most of their built-in honeymoon, so what better way to do that than with allllll the pictures!

When I asked Shelby about their relationship and how they met, she said, “In so many multiverses, we probably never would have gotten together. Garrett and I first officially met at a University of Michigan football game our freshman year of college. We continued to hang out in the relatively same friend group, but we were dating different people all through college. Garrett was completely oblivious to all my advances (hello? why else would I ask him to tutor me in a subject I was getting A’s in?), and it was only because of my shear stubbornness that we even went on a couple of dates. Well, I went in thinking it was a date but left thinking it wasn't a date; and Garrett went in thinking it was a date and didn't realize until afterward it was a date. Finally, after graduation, Garrett officially asked me out on June 2nd, 2016 by making me a cheesecake. We now live happily together in the house I bought us, with our little fur baby Wallace that he bought us.”

Fast forward 5 years and these two actually got married on their 5-year dating anniversary! They initially wanted to get married in Denmark, but Miss Rona said no to that, so Vegas it is! Maybe they’ll get to plan a honeymoon in Denmark (and take their favorite photographer with them) 🤪

We met up on Fremont Street for some spunky photos in front of a bunch of different murals before jetting over to The Strip to finish up their session. We dodged Bellagio security as we illegally parked my car in their valet area to get those photos with the skyline, then we waltzed all up and down Las Vegas Boulevard as the sun set behind them. When I tell you I rarely had to tell them how to pose, I mean it! They just did the thing so perfectly! (but don’t worry, I got you, even if you don’t know what to do with your hands)

These two really got that full Vegas experience with the classic downtown vibes of Fremont Street, plus the modern look of The Strip! If you’re ready for your own Vegas photo tour, hit that button below!
