Las Vegas Rooftop Proposal | Palms Las Vegas

Nothing makes my heart sing more than when I get an inquiry for a proposal. The love, time, and attention that someone puts into proposing is unmatched, and it’s always an honor to be a part of it!

That’s exactly what happened when Scott inquired with me, ready to propose to the love of his life, Shannon. He initially wanted to meet me out in Red Rock Canyon to propose at sunset, but after chatting, we thought maybe a rooftop would be a better option. Driving out to the middle of the desert in a limo and there happens to be a nature photographer out there? Sure, definitely not suspicious at all. But running up to see the sun set from a rooftop overlooking the Strip, where there are plenty of hiding spots for me? Easy peasy.

Proposing on a Las Vegas rooftop

Coordinating a rooftop proposal in Las Vegas has a few hoops to jump through. While there are plenty of Vegas rooftops with great views, only a few of them will allow you to rent the space for a proposal. And of those places, you’ll encounter a variety of price points. It’s important to figure out where you want to propose first and know what that venue will charge you before contacting me! I’m always happy to connect you with a proposal planner, but that will also come with service fees. The way I see it, you have two ways of going about your Las Vegas rooftop proposal planning:

Option 1:

  • Find the perfect location

  • Figure out how much the perfect location will cost and book it

  • Book the perfect photographer (ahem, me)

  • Propose

  • Live happily ever after

Option 2:

  • Book the perfect photographer (ahem, me)

  • Book one of the proposal planners I connect you with

  • Work with that planner to execute your dream vision (Marry Me letters, florals, candles, the works if you want it!)

  • Propose

  • Live happily ever after

Either way, you end up with the same amazing outcome!

In this case, Scott chose option 2, so I connected him with the amazing venue coordinator Jackie at the Palms to rent out Ghost Bar at sunset. Jackie then took us all around the property for some incredible photos in all of the iconic locations within the casino, ending back at Ghost Bar to watch the lights come up over the Strip. This way, Scott and Shannon ended up with both sunset and dusk photos of their stunning evening together.
