Little White Chapel and Fremont Street Elopement Photos

The Little White Chapel is arguably the most iconic Las Vegas wedding venue of all time. With celebrity weddings including Sophie Turner, Michael Jordan, and Frank Sinatra, you know you’re in good company when you choose to get married here. However, a perfect Little White wedding doesn’t come without some steps to get there. Let’s dive into how to get married at the Little White Chapel.

Getting your Las Vegas marriage license

Honestly, this sounds much more complicated than it is. You can either apply online or in person at the Marriage License Bureau, and either takes about 5-10 minutes to complete. If you applied online, you head over when you arrive to Vegas to pick up the paperwork. You answer a couple of in-person questions and receive a packet of information – most of which you hand over to your officiant! I always tell couples to play it safe and just bring the entire packet with you to your ceremony, and the fine folks at Little White will go over what they need with you.

Booking your ceremony

You can, of course, walk into just about any Las Vegas wedding chapel to get married, but booking your time slot is highly preferred so that you can time out the rest of your day with your other vendors! Little White Chapel allows you to do this online ahead of time and pay in advance, so that when you arrive day-of, you just have to get married!

Getting to the chapel

Little White is super accessible from just about anywhere in Vegas. From the Strip, plan for a 15-20 minute ride, depending on traffic or your hotel’s location. From Fremont, plan for about 10 minutes. If you’ve pre-booked your ceremony slot, you have to arrive and check into the chapel 30 minutes before your booked time. But we won’t be sitting around during that time – we’ll be doing your couples portraits all around the iconic venue! During that check-in process, you’re also required to do some final paperwork and go over the ceremony details. At that time, you’ll need to designate a witness, too! I’m always happy to be your official ceremony witness if you’re eloping with no other guests! Once we’re checked in, the chapel gives us a little colored flag so they can find us more easily while roam the property for your portraits.

Your ceremony

Finally! You two are getting married! You’ll have the opportunity to notify the chapel ahead of time if you plan to exchange rings, if you plan to exchange personal vows, and if you’d like any religious mention during your minister’s speech. The wedding goes off without a hitch, you kiss, and you’re officially married! Your minister will give you an envelope for a tip, since the ministers are not paid by the chapel and are not included in what you paid to reserve your ceremony time. $50-$100 is most commonly given, depending on how much you loved your ceremony. If you’ve booked Elvis, he’ll sing a couple songs before/after your ceremony, and you’ll likely have some Elvis puns included in your repeat-after-me vows.
