70’s Inspired Las Vegas Styled Engagement Session

Okay I’m straight up not kidding when I say Jess and TJ belong together.

Like, the very core of their souls were just made for each other. And out of nearly 7.7 billion people on this planet, they found each other. Wild how that works sometimes.

Anyway, we had this idea over at my other business, Las Vegas Styled Shoots, to create a fun, retro, 70s-inspired engagement session. These two weren’t engaged at the time of the shoot, but you’d never know it, because they’re pros at snuggling together! We got Jess’s super cute outfit from a few different stores, and half of what TJ’s wearing actually belongs to my fiance! At the end of the shoot, TJ said, “I love this look. I’m this guy now!” So I guess it’s good that my fiance has a style that others want to emulate!

So back to these cuties! They moved to Las Vegas shortly before this shoot so Jess could continue her education at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. We actually met through a local Facebook group dedicated to local fans of a podcast we both listen to. I posted in this group looking for models, she responded, and the rest is history! (SSDGM, right?)

It’s clear that these two had a blast at this shoot out at the Seven Magic Mountains. I love this spot in particular because you can really get two completely different looks from the same place. In one direction, you have a beautiful desert-scape topped with mountains, and then you have the big painted rocks in another direction! It’s usually pretty busy, so it requires a bit of photoshop, but it’s nothing this Las Vegas photographer can’t handle!

I also just learned that the permit for the Seven Magic Mountains runs out at the end of 2021, so there’s a good chance it could be taken down at the end of the year. If you want your photos done here, definitely do not wait to get in touch!
