Las Vegas Desert Engagement Session | Red Rock Canyon and Dry Lakebed

Stephanie and Juan were some of the most fun humans I’ve ever gotten to hang out with. Not only were they super spunky and hilarious, but they also just really loved dope photography, so we were a perfect match!

These two came to Vegas on vacation with a group of their friends. While those friends were power napping to prep for the night out, we snuck off for a whirlwind tour around the Las Vegas desert for these dope photos! Stephanie told me she had a hard time deciding on where to do their engagement photos, so we just did all the places! We started off outside of Red Rock Canyon, where I took them to two of my favorite spots, then we jetted down to the Jean-Roach dry lakebed and made a pitstop at the Seven Magic Mountains on the way back! We quite literally drove allllll the way around the city, but we definitely had a blast doing it.

When I asked Stephanie to tell me about her relationship with Juan, she gushed! She told me he had proposed after this trip to Vegas was already planned, so she didn’t want to make the entire trip about the two of them by eloping. So instead, she just wanted some kick ass photos to remember the trip by! The two of them met working at a restaurant together, and she told me “he was nothing like anyone I had ever met.” Y’all. I cannot. But then it gets even better.

She said, “I remember walking away from our introductions thinking “he is the one,” which at the time, I thought that was so silly. I didn’t even want a relationship! And it’s like the universe threw him into my path.”

Say it with me now – soulmates.

These two were super down for all the fun and joyful images, and they had so much laughter to share during our session. They told me they’re most likely eloping somewhere in 2021, but they have no plans yet since “2020 was full of bad juju.” I pushed for them to elope in Las Vegas, but I’m probably a little biased. :)
