Little White Chapel and Fremont Anniversary Photos

So many couples feel like they have to have some big event like getting engaged, getting married, having babies, or some other thing to justify getting professional portraits done. I’ve been an engagement and elopement photographer in Las Vegas and SoCal for a while now, so TRUST ME when I say: No you don’t!!

Portraits at any point in your relationship are meant to capture who you are at that exact moment in time. They should represent how far you’ve grown together, the love you have for each other in this moment, and your continued commitment to your lives together. So in my most humble opinion, there’s no better reason than just plain love!

Abby and Ryan decided to book their portraits for exactly that reason on one of their anniversaries. Since they just popped into Vegas for one night, in the words of the great George Strait, they weren’t here for a long time but they were here for a good time! And folks, lemme tell you, they were just two kids in love running around Las Vegas and having the goodest of times together.

These two sweethearts are married with two children and they decided to book cheesy, fun, Vegas couples portraits at the Little White Chapel on their way home from a friend’s Napa Valley wedding. Abby mentioned that they never got the wedding photos of their dreams (what a BUMMER! Ugh!) so they wanted some to just celebrate their relationship and have some fun before they got too old.

(Side note — you’re never too old! The day I get to run around Vegas with a pair of octogenarian lovebirds will be the BEST day of my life! Any takers??)

There’s always a good reason to book portraits just for yourself and that reason is: BECAUSE YOU CAN! Being in a relationship is hard and every chance you get to celebrate all your hard work and commitment it takes on the daily, you should take it.

If you’re ready to book portraits for your engagement, elopement, or just in the name of love (is someone playing U2?) hit that button right there and let’s get to planning! I’m so excited!
