Fremont Street Elopement Photos
One thing I hear SO OFTEN from my couples is how they don't want to do the whole song and dance of a traditional wedding, but they still want to celebrate the day in some way that's more than a selfie on the courthouse steps. These types of sessions are my jam! I’m all about having a good time, no matter what that means to you, so if you’re worried about things being unconventional, don’t be!
This is exactly what brought Jenifer and Josh to me. They have been together for 15 years and a big part of what discouraged them from tying the knot was the whole idea of a traditional wedding. And while they knew their families would love one, it just didn't feel authentic to them and at the end of the day, that's what is most important.
They decided on finding a solution that suited them the best: A quick signing of their marriage certificate at a chapel, then time together to celebrate. And celebrate we did! My favorite moment was the linked-arms-beer-chug that brought their own version of a good time to a classic wedding tradition.
To truly capture the fun spirit of Vegas, we made sure to get classic Fremont Street elopement photos complete with a Champagne pop in front of the Vegas sign. We stopped by my favorite walls for some casual candids and a classic hubby heel click, then romped around some more just enjoying each other’s company. After the sun went down, we headed inside a casino where they tried their hand at the slot machines.
The common theme that I loved the most about Jenifer and Josh's Vegas elopement pictures wasn't the neon lights or the ambience of the strip -- it was their huge smiles and the pure joy and fun they have with each other that I can still feel looking at their photos today!
