Sure Thing Chapel Vow Renewal

Can you imagine a better way to celebrate a ten-year anniversary than a Vegas vow renewal? Heck NO! Between visiting local state parks, Courtney and John came to Vegas to do just that. Their smiles, laughter, and playfulness made this vow renewal so heartfelt and perfect for them. We all know how far a little bit of fun can go when you’re with the person you love most!

Booking a photoshoot for your vow renewal may feel like overkill but get that thought out of you head now! (Seriously, shoo! We don’t need that negativity around here!) Renewing your vows is a major milestone for a couple that’s been together as long as these two and boy was I lucky to witness it. When you do decide to book a photoshoot to capture your big day, there are plenty of ways to make the most of it, but here are my top pieces of advice:

  • Be prepared to be silly! Genuine smiles and pure joy will light you up from the inside out and bring your photos to life every time you look at them.

  • Take time to remember why you're doing this. You may be different people from when you got married, but you’re a team for a reason! Look deep in each other’s eyes and feel the love, man!

  • Make your photo session unique to you: choose outfits that represent your personality (John’s shoes and Courtney’s gloves were the perfect touches!), bring items that are special to you, or let’s visit your favorite spots around town.

  • Bring people important to you. Elopements and vow renewals don’t have to be big ordeals, but if there’s someone you can’t see doing this day without, you can bet we’ll include them!

  • Adjust on the fly! Stress is enemy number one so if we hit a hiccup, be ready to channel your inner Ross Geller and PIVOT!! For this session, John didn’t have a ring for their vow renewal ceremony, so Courtney adapted like a pro and drew one on him! It made their session all the more special.
