Match Made in the ER | Fremont Street Engagement Session
Strolling straight out of a Thursday night PrimeTime ER drama, the unfairly beautiful ER nurse Ashley and charmingly handsome EMT Andreas graced my lens for a few short hours while we captured their Fremont Street engagement photos (and I definitely didn’t talk shop with them using my esteemed medical knowledge from Grey’s Anatomy University… ha.. haha…)
As lovers of Las Vegas, they thought Fremont Street would be the perfect spot for engagement pictures before their wedding in Cleveland next year. Every couple I take to Fremont Street has an absolute blast and is thrilled with their images, so I totally agree!
These two met at work and Ashley says the story’s not as glamorous as you’d think. I think if you fall in love with each other while sleep deprived and covered in questionable bodily fluids, it doesn’t get much more certain than that! One thing Ashley and Andreas know very well is how to adjust on the fly and boy howdy did that come in handy during our session!
Shortly after our session started, Ashley realized that instead of sending her the cute pair of heels she’d ordered just for these engagement pictures, a certain online shopping giant had actually sent her medieval torture devices disguised as a cute pair of heels! Cue the dramatic, slow motion scene of the handsome EMT with flowing hair swooping in to save her. In comes Andreas with a new pair of flip flops and the session is saved!
Once the torture shoe debacle was solved, we had a wonderful time rambling around under the neon lights, spinning and dancing and laughing. If there’s one thing I’ve learned over the years, it’s that bumps in the road don’t have to derail a session, and sometimes create even better memories and photos that you can look back on and laugh!
