Las Vegas is THE place to go for an elopement, and that reputation exists for a reason. From drive-thru ceremonies to all-out celebrations, if you want to do your elopement big, you better do it here. Billie and Mat dove headfirst into the true Vegas elopement experience: just the three of us and a wild night on the strip as the Vegas gods intended! These two lovebirds initially booked with another photographer, but the more they planned, the more they realized I had the experience they needed to accomplish every activity on their checklist—and accomplish them we did.

We started with classic getting ready portraits in their suite at the Cosmo, then hit the town for elopement portraits on the Strip. I coordinated a tattoo appointment at Downtown Tattoo (obsessed with couples who do this!), then we headed straight for the famous Sure Thing Chapel. After a few more portraits of the happy couple on Fremont Street and a couple delicious slices of ‘za at Evel Pie, we headed to one of the coolest spots in the city: the Peppermint Hippo strip club! What a freakin’ legendary wedding night activity!

One thing about this elopement that brings me so much pride is that throughout the night, all Billie and Mat had to do was relax and enjoy the ride. Beyond taking beautiful documentary-style photos, I’m doing a lot of work behind the scenes to make sure your wedding and elopement goes off without a hitch. For this elevated Las Vegas elopement, not only did I provide guidance and recommendations based on more than a decade of experience, I also arranged the tattoo appointments so it would line up perfectly in our schedule AND coordinated transportation to the club.
