Gamble on Love | Las Vegas Surprise Proposal
Itβs time for Kelsey and Saraβs surprise engagement!! My favorite part of their inquiry was this line from Kelsey: βI met Sara 3 years ago and am SO ready to propose to herβ and BOY am I ready, too! I love surprise proposals!!
Just in the last year, Iβve had lots of disguises to help one piece of a couple pull off a super-sneaky surprise proposal: Red Rock Photo Tour, photog for a big family get together, lovers and friends welcome dinner photographer, hotel promo photographer β I should be a freaking double agent by now! (Maybe I am alreadyβ¦ youβll never know! Muahahah!)
Here's how this super-sneaky surprise proposal went down:
On a family *gambling* trip to Vegas with Saraβs family, Kelsey booked a private craps table and clued in the select few key members of pulling this off that she planned to propose to Sara: Sara's sister and brother in law, and Sara's best friend Marissa (who wasn't even supposed to join this family vacay so it was a double surprise for Sara!) Everyone else? Blind as bats to what was about to happen β her parents included!
Meanwhile, I got to work crafting my super clever disguise and plan of action. As the βhotel promo photographerβ I would approach their table, locate the targets, snap a few candid shots of innocent dice-rollers and fun-havers, before pulling everyone up for a group picture. After a few shots of the everyone, Iβd say βoh Kelsey had her eyes closed, letβs take another oneβ then BAM! PROPOSAL! Yo-leven!
I love the looks on everyoneβs faces when they realized Kelsey was proposing to Sara β it couldnβt have been more perfect! If youβre planning a surprise proposal like this, hit me up and Iβll dig through my box of fake mustaches and trench coats for my next sneaky disguise!
