Low-Key Bellagio Proposal | Las Vegas Proposal Photographer

‘Twas a sunny Sunday morning in Las Vegas when Josh led his love to the pavilion in front of the Bellagio, dropped to his knee, and professed his undying love for her while blimps dropped hundred-dollar bills and dark chocolate covered strawberries and a full choir sang Nat King Cole love ballads.

Okay, okay—it definitely wasn’t THAT over the top! In fact, it was the most perfectly low-key proposal ever. The weather was beautiful, there was no big fuss adding pressure to the moment, and the joy on both their faces could’ve lit up the strip. Sometimes, low-key proposals are exactly perfect for the couple and make me the happiest of them all.

What do I love about low-key proposals? I’m glad you asked! For one, there’s less pressure on the proposing partner, which reduces the chances of things going wrong since you aren’t worried about a ton of moving pieces lining up perfectly. There will be plenty of time for dressing up and celebrating in an over-the-top way later!

When it’s just you and your soulmate (and your sneaky photographer *wink, wink*) the focus is totally on you and your relationship. Plus, it’s WAY easier to catch your honey off guard! Trust me, planning and coordinating something elaborate is more likely to tip them off to your proposal plans. Taking your partner by surprise is such a fun feeling!
