Wild and Free Love | Mt Charleston Engagement Photos

For Destiny and Todd’s engagement photoshoot, we hit the road and said “Mt. Charleston or Bust!” And, friends, we very nearly went bust! As we were caravanning up the mountain, Todd realized they didn't have enough gas to make the trip — yikes!! Luckily, they were able to hop in my car and we finished our our harrowing journey together.

Destiny noted that they chose me for the authentic poses and variety in photos as we move through your session. We started out walking down a wooded trail drenched in the most delicious sunshine, then captured a few sweet (and natural) poses under a cute little bridge. Then a quick outfit change before we headed to a beautiful field chock-full of more of that honey-colored sunshine!

To our MAJOR surprise, there was a special gift waiting for us in the field, and like little kids driving down the interstate, we all collectively said “Horses!” Seriously, what are the odds there would be wild horses in the field we chose who were totally cool with our presence?! I’ll be riding (heh) that high for AGES!

As much as I adore my sweet city of Las Vegas, it’s so fun to get out and go somewhere new. Mt. Charleston is beautiful, easy to access, and perfect for sunshiney engagement photos that feel natural and fresh — and maybe a wild horse or two if we’re lucky! If you want a session here, I’m game!
