One of my favorite things to see in a couple’s session of any kind is laughter! If you face so many hurdles and come out the other side just happy to be together, you can make it through anything. Throughout their session, Rene and Amanda were full of smiles and appreciation for each other.

These two are all about experiences they can share, with one of their favorites being a trip to Hawaii. They booked a stargazing tour and hiked through the incredible scenery and drinking in the night sky. Looking to top that, Rene booked a hot air balloon flight over New Jersey with a special plan to propose in the sky, but the tough spring weather nixed that plan.

Rene and Amanda had many, many hurdles on their journey to fiance status, but while in Vegas for a Maroon 5 concert, Rene told the universe “Just give me one more chance to make it right!” and finally, FINALLY proposed to the love of his life.

We told Amanda we were going on a “photo tour” of Red Rock Canyon and while out in the desert Rene dropped to one knee and professed his love and devotion. Amanda of course said YES!! and we popped a bottle to celebrate! Champagne is a must-have in all of my sessions. Not only is it a blast to get a good pop and spray, but I love seeing couples crack each other up as they take swigs straight from the bottle.
