Ashley and Prentice booked an anniversary portrait session with me since they never got to have the wedding or elopement of their dreams. They’re low-stakes, laid-back, and completely focused on enjoying the time we have. But honestly, your reason doesn’t have to be anything more than “Because we want to!” Every stage in your relationship deserves to be celebrated, even if that stage is just doing this whole “life” thing together.
What to Wear and How to Prepare
Anniversary portraits are some of the most customizable pictures you can take. Since you’re celebrating your marriage, you can wear suits and dresses like this stunning duo. If you want a more relaxed feel, you can wear your favorite coordinating outfits. My favorite tip when choosing outfits is to take a few test pictures on your phone to make sure you aren’t clashing with each other and that you feel confident with how you look.
A professional anniversary portrait session is also a great excuse to splurge on some pampering. Get a fresh mani/pedi, a haircut with a style you love, and maybe even a massage.
