Alright, my couple-being friends, it’s time for me to ask you a hard question. Are you ready? Here we go:
When was the last time you took a real picture with your partner? Do you have any recent photos that aren’t quick selfies or uncomfortably-lit snapshots at a family event? Are you going down a rabbit hole of old pictures wondering why the heck you don’t have more? (Me, too, friend. Me, too.) Honestly, don’t you think your relationship deserves more?
Many couples choose to book a portrait session to commemorate a milestone like a big anniversary or a life accomplishment but for Jane and Jonah, it’s because I happened to be in town and they felt like lovin’ on each other a little! In my humble opinion, one of the best reasons to take couple’s portraits is “just because!” You don’t need a good reason to get fancy and spin in each other’s arms—your love and a “why the hell not?” is enough.
Couple’s portraits are a chance to come together in a beautiful place and capture exactly who you are at this point in your relationship. The ways you’ve changed, the little moments you share in a glance, the new memories you’re making that are now frozen in time forever—It’s all so worth it.
Need a date night idea? Couple’s portraits are a unique opportunity to reconnect, have some fun, and feel stunning while you’re at it. Want some fresh photos for socials and to fill the frames in your home? Let a pro do it! Travelling to a new city and want to document your trip? Travel couple’s portraits, wedding, and elopement photography is my specialty! Send me a message to plan your own session no matter where in the world you are. I promise you won’t regret it!
