If you asked me, “How the heck am I supposed to choose something to wear?!” my first question in turn is going to be: “Well, what vibe are you going for?” If you want photos that are saucy and romantic, think date night outfits. If you feel like a casual, intimate look fits your relationship, jazz up your trusted go-to’s. Western? Throw on some boots and a bolo tie! Sleek? Everyone looks good in a suit, amirite? When you’re choosing what to wear, remember that it’s most important to feel good in what you’re wearing. As a photographer of over a decade, you can’t even imagine how many amazing outfits I’ve seen. Trust me when I say that the ones that look the best are the ones that make you feel your best!

Best Locations in Las Vegas for Anniversary Portraits

If we’re spending our time together in the city, I love the Arts District for unique portraits. The murals and history come together for some of the best photo-op backgrounds a girl could ask for. Once we’re done there, we can boogie over to Fremont Street for the true Las Vegas experience: bright lights, street life, and all the fun we can capture in one session. I also love unique places like the Neon Museum to bring classic Las Vegas charm to your portraits.

If the city isn’t the location that speaks to your soul, a short drive can take us to lots of options out in the desert. Red Rock Canyon’s ancient rock formations form a breathtaking backdrop while the dry lakebed breathes life with its wide-open space. And if you want to see a truly one-of-a-kind feature of Las Vegas, Seven Magic Mountains is sure to fit the bill while we traipse through the desert landscape and around the sculptures.

Pose Ideas for Anniversary and Couple’s Portraits

A common concern for many people is feeling awkward and not knowing how to pose in front of the camera. Let me reassure you that that’s no problem! I’ve been told that my outstanding personality (A.K.A. goofy antics and silliness) make people feel comfortable right off the bat. I also have a whole stockpile of poses and prompts we’ll use. Mostly, we’ll spend our time just capturing how you are together. My goal is to tell the story of your relationship in the smiles, laughs, and embraces that you share. All you have to do is show up and be in love! Sounds easy enough, right?
